A letter from General Witsell
is dated 15 January 1946.

At this time there was still no information concerning Lt Sisson's status.
Public Law 490 is mentioned in this letter.

Public Law took 490 effect one year and one day
following a member of the military being declared Missing in Action.

For Lt Sisson, this would be 27 June 1946.
At this time a document titled Finding of Death would be issued.

Lt Sisson's remains were recovered on 1 April 1946 as an Unknown.

General Witsell also requested any information
that Mr Sisson had received from relatives or friends.

Mr Sisson's reply follows with a four page handwritten letter.
