Below is the five page report submitted by Capt Gilbert Hoover, USS Helena,
to the Commander-in-Chief, Pacific Fleet, on 14 November 1942.

He provides details of the Circumstances at the time of the attack
and a Summary of the description of the attack.

There is also one page from the After Action Report 13 November 1942
with the message visually transmitted from the Helena to a B-17.

The last two pages are Attachments (A) and (B) that have Sketches of the Action.
